Live video lecture
What one sentence best describes your idea?
Teachers can teach a class of students remotely with online video.
Describe your idea in more depth.
Using web cams or other technology, teachers can teach students basic, to highly advanced and specialized subjects. Students could interact in a variety of ways, such as digitally "raising their hand", so the instructor could know to stop talking, and allowing other students to answer questions. Perhaps even provide social networking features for student to help each other during and after the lecture.
What problem or issue does your idea address?
It is difficult to learn specialized subjects, pick your teachers, get helpful answers to questions remotely, find like minded people, etc...
